Who are we

The purpose of the Society is primarily cultural.

The specific aim of the Society is to accept all religions, promote culture and wellbeing of the community, and also encourage a broad range of opportunities in music, sports, arts, food, and entertainment.

The Society’s purpose is to promote the continuance of Indian Culture in New Zealand through channels of music, sports, arts, food and entertainment; and to provide opportunities to develop kinship among the wider community, by preserving cultural history and by encouraging the recognition of cultural values through cultural events.
